摘要： An electronic security system is used to transfer funds. The system includes acentral processor (20) and a portable transaction device (30). During the operation of thetrigger, the central processor (20) generates a sequence of transaction numbers andassociated random numbers. This data is sent and stored in the portable transactiondevice (30). During operation, the next available random number is determined andcombined with a transaction parameter to produce a security code. The security code canbe checked immediately or during the audit cycle in the central processor. In thepreferred embodiment, in-line processing with the computer, the selection of therandom number is modified by a random number offset, thus improving safety.
